Depth Chart 2017-18 Season:

In this season you focus on teaching the young players. I decided to have the team send Frank Mason III and Harry Giles down to the D-League. I feel that at point guard you have to send Temple or Mason down to the D-League. Because he was drafted in the second round, it is best for him to develop in a lower league. I would rather give Mason playing time in the D-League, rather then no playing time in the NBA. You send Harry Giles down because you can slowly give him minutes. He was injured for Duke in college and I think that if you bring him in to the team right away, it may cause a re-injury. Tolliver has one year left so after the year you can bring Giles in. This season is going to be middle of the pack, they look to get a 10-15 pick.

Depth Chart 2018-19 Season:

This season is looking pretty good in Sacramento. However, the main decision is who do you start at point guard? Next season you will move Hill to shooting guard as he shoots about 40% from the 3. You could move Fox to the starting position however if you are looking to make a run in the playoffs I believe they should start Hill. This season they will be calling up Giles however he will be playing behind both Randolph and Labissiere. The main question for this position is, what do you do with Randolph? Do you trade him, start him, or play him of the bench? He is on an expiring deal so I think that you play him coming of the bench. Overall, this season I believe the Kings would look to make the playoffs.

Depth Chart 2019-20 Season:

This season is the final season I will be showing. As you can see the youth as really built themselves up. At PG you have Fox who in his 3rd Season, he has developed into a star. As a backup, Mason has become an NBA quality player. I believe that if he puts the 2 years in the D-League then he can become the next great short player. At shooting guard I believe you move Hill to backup SG. Buddy Hield is no doubt the starter however George Hill is losing his physical ability so moving him to Shooting Guard lets him use his ability of shooting over 40% from 3. I would rather have Malachi Richardson then Ty Lawson so the Kings would trade Lawson for some 2nd Rounders. At SF you have your 2 main players in Justin Jackson and Trevor Ariza. In this year I have Justin Jackson over Trevor Ariza. Ariza is getting older, at the age of 34. That also means that Justin Jackson is at the age of 25, entering his prime. I think Fox, Hield, and Jackson can be a deadly partnership. At your PF/C pairing, you have Skal Labissiere and Willie Cauley-Stein. Labissiere has a player efficiency rating of 16.91 and Cauley-Stein has a efficiency rating of 16.37. That shows how deadly they can be in 5 years from todays NBA. You can’t forget you have great backups in Giles and Papagiannis. This team is really deadly and can make a run in the playoffs competing against teams like the 76ers!
