This looks like a cool blog and I look forward to your nuggets of wisdom. Did you have any general thoughts or insights on the NBA draft? Did you think it was cool that a Blue Devil got picked so early?

I believe that out of the draft Fox getting drafted by the Kings is the best pick. He reminds me of John Wall as he is the fastest out of the players coming out of college and the ability to show up in big games. He proved this against UCLA as he scored 39 points against the number two pick, Lonzo Ball. He also shut down Lonzo Ball as Ball only scored 10 points in the game. nother reason why I think Fox has potential to be the best player in the draft is because Anthony Davis, Demarcus Cousins, John Wall, Eric Bledsoe, and Devin Booker are some of the players Kentucky has put in the NBA.
In terms of the Duke player I believe that Jayson Tatum will end up being a bust. We have seen the Celtics take Jaylen Brown at pick 3 and so far he has not turned out as a good pickup. To add on to that, I feel that Duke players don’t have as much luck in the NBA as Kyrie Irving and J.J. Reddick are the only 2 players worthy of playing time. Then you have Tatum’s March Madness. Against South Carolina, Tatum needed to show up. Instead, Tatum had 5 turnovers, 5 fouls, with no steals or blocks. In a game he needed to be a leader, he only scored 15 points. Really for that type of player he should of got close to 30 points.
However, I do think that Harry Giles can be a steal at pick 20. If he wasn’t injured, he might be a top 5 pick. He was #1 in the 2016 ESPN Top 100 Recruits. I think that if he can avoid re injuring himself, he can be a steal for the Kings.
